Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how the Living Scroll application ("the app") and its website livingscroll.net handle your data. The app is published by ExMachinaPL (EX MACHINA Hubert Mach, Poland).

Summary

• The app works fully offline. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
• The app does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. We never receive the content you create.
• Everything you create stays on your device, in storage controlled by you.

Data stored by the app

The app stores the content you create or import — adventures, projects, game saves, notes, images, audio files and settings — in the app's private data directory on your device. This data:

• never leaves your device through the app;
• is not accessible to us;
• is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app (on desktop systems the data directory may remain until you remove it).

Files are read from or written to other locations only when you choose so, for example when you pick an image or audio file to import, or save an export or archive to a location you select.

Network access

The app does not connect to the internet on its own. The only exception is opening this privacy policy in your web browser at your request — the page is then loaded by your browser, not by the app.

Device permissions

The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone or similar sensitive data. Access to files happens only through the system file picker, for the files you select.

If you use voice typing or dictation provided by your keyboard or operating system, the audio is processed by that keyboard or system service under its own privacy policy, not by the app — the app only receives the resulting text.

Backups

On Android, your device may include app data in its system backup (for example Android Auto Backup to your Google account), if you have enabled it. Such backups are made by the operating system and are governed by your device settings and the backup provider's privacy policy, not by the app.

Diagnostic data

The app does not send crash reports or diagnostic data. Any diagnostic logs the app may write are stored only on your device.

Downloading the app

If you download the app from Google Play or from GitHub, those services may process data (such as your IP address or account information) according to their own privacy policies:

Website

The website livingscroll.net is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical data such as your IP address for security and operational purposes, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement above. The website does not use cookies.

Children

The app does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and included in the next version of the app, with a new effective date.
